Mi Casa Restaurant in Cabo San
Lucas, Los Cabos, México we prepare all parts of our
menu from scratch every day. Mexican
salsas, especially, have to be
freshly made for them to really
burst with flavors.
When we use achiote, a unique
Mexican chile paste, we marinade the
fish, or chicken a day before
cooking it which ensures that the
flavor is "married "to the product
and not only pasted on.
All our tortillas are made from
scratch every night right in the
patio in our tortilla station.
Served piping hot to your table.
There is just no substitute for a
fresh hot tortilla. 95% of the
restaurants buy commercial grade
tortillas and reheat tem for their
customers.

The same
is true today for the mole sauces: I
don't know of any other restaurant
in Cabo that makes the famous Mole
Poblano sauce from scratch which
takes about 8 hours to do and
requires a lot of skills. It is
easier to buy a commercial
concentrate in paste form and reheat
it with chicken broth. The
difference, of course, is like night
and day.
At Mi Casa there are no short-cuts
of any kind when it comes to

Mi Casa's menu is the creation of
one of the better chefs in all of
Mexico, Keisha Valdes de Richter..
Her concept is to create a huge
window into the incredibly versatile
traditional cuisine of Mexico by
focusing on recipes that incorporate
these unique ingredients or unique
combinations that make them a
culinary stand-out.
The menu , in essence, is culinary
journey through Mexico. Keisha's
staff of 15 cooks are working hard
to make sure that the spirit of her
menu is properly represented every
day.

Los Sopes de Cochinita
Two dough patties loaded with shredded pork,
black beans, onions & cheese
Sample platter of 4 Tamales (steamed masa
flour wrapped in corn husks) representing different regions
of Mexico: Shrimp in Axiote, Beef in pasilla stew, Chicken
with mole and Pork in tomatillo sauce.
Roasted & peeled, mildly spicy, chile caribe
pepper stuffed with a delicious sautéed mix of shrimp,
scallop, octopus & smoked Marlin, served in a sweet & sour
pineapple reduction (3/order).
Your choice of four delicious recipies from
the coasts of Mexico: Sarandeao Marinated with herbs and
spices ,slowly grilled to perfection; Mojillo Seasoned with
chile guajillo and garlic.Very tasty; Talla padded with a
mixture of dried chiles and herbs, grilled on charcoal;
Tikin Xic from Yucatan.prepared in achiote, & grilled in a
banana leaf.

Famous mole of chile guajillo & chile ancho
with Chicken & pork and lots of fruit. Very tasty!
Masterpiece of Mexican cuisine! Fistful dish
of chicken in a rich dark mole sauce of peppers, seeds &
spices (aprox. 35 ingredients) A feast for your palate!
A specialty dish to celebrate independence
day. Poblano pepper stuffed with sautéed meats, served with
a fresh walnut cream sauce. One of Mexico’s finest.
All ingredients of this salad come from local
organic farms of the area: mixed lettuces and a grilled mix
of zuccini, red onions, corn & colored bell peppers topped
with crunchy tortilla strips,and cotija cheese in a pinapple-
cilantro-jalapeño vinaigrette.
Fresh locally grown organic lettuce &
tomatoes, pickled black beans, cubes of fresh local Panela
cheese , served with sweet & sour cilantro-soy-pasilla
vinaigrette
Grilled fresh Panela cheese in a very tasty
rub of mixed dried chiles,served with a tomatillo sauce,
topped with fried tortilla jullienne, tomato rice and black
beans.

peeled poblano pepper filled with a delicious sautéed stew
of assorted vegetables, pecans & cotija cheese,served with
guajillo sauce. Subtitutable with melted cheese, cheese
